Make It Monday

And it’s finished!

My Julissa Sweater. Just in time to wear to the Needler’s Retreat. Photo is just off the needles and not blocked. It’s here for the objective evidence πŸ˜‰

Julissa Sweater - Finished

I need a helper to take a photo of it on. The “Selfie” is something I’ve yet to learn how to do without making myself look utterly ridiculous. This is truly one that looks better on. The fit is close but not tight and colour is closer to a mauve, in the cool range so goes well with this dark hair of mine.

The other FO – why yes, there are two, smiles; is the second of my Noro Bias Lace Scarves.

This one just flew off the needles. I’m still working on the Kureyon Sock version and it is progressing well. It feels great to be getting things finished. I joke about being a process knitter and that it doesn’t matter to me once the knitting is done but… it’s nice to have something to show for the work.

Five more sleeps to the retreat!

  1. Your sweater is totally gorgeous and feminine! It looks like it would go well color-wise with your scarf too. Do you find that the projects you make are all sort of the same color palette? When I look through my yarn stash and think back on past projects I find that I am drawn to a pretty distinctive palette…just wondering if others to that too.

    • Thank you! This was one of those serendipitous cases of stumbling over Vanessa’s designs and wanting to use up this stashed yarn. I definitely lean toward pinks, purples and blues but it would be fair to say that other than orange -which I do like in leaves and peppers – I never met a colour I didn’t like πŸ™‚
