In the becoming-more-usual way, it has sprung with dizzying speed. This time last week, significant amounts of snirt were still visible in shaded corners and we had an actual snow fall. Boots, coats and mitts were still in evidence. Yesterday, in true Canadian (and especially Ottawan) fashion, shorts and flip flops were being sported by many.
I, in my typical way, am fallen victim to my annual spring dithering… so much to do and I don’t know where to start! My garden calls but I haven’t purchased any garden tools, My knitting calls but my stash is worse than a harem – all the pretties want attention and none can be satisfied with short attention span and shorter ministrations!
I’m trying hard to finish up a test knit of my Goth-Stonian Legwarmers, mostly to be able to show the gorgeous handmade beads that are going onto this next pair and am working away at another Arcadian Double Loop, this time to show the technique for a photo tutorial… That and three sweaters, all at various stages have me all a-twitter as the robins.
I’m thinking a nice long walk this evening to clear out the residual hibernation hangover is in order and then maybe I can tackle this lot from a fresh perspective.
