Blazin’ Needles


Just wrapped up the final (for realz – my OCD kicked in hard for the last two patterns!) test knit for “James Harris”. This one is called “Polished Pewter” and I’m back to my original transitioning for the ribbed section. Note to self: do NOT allow the chicken to take notes next time you are prototype knitting…

I am madly in love with the Three Irish Girls “Felicity” that I worked this in. It’s a 50/50 merino silk and heavenly. The hand, the stitch definition and the mileage are great! One skein made the scarf, a well worthwhile investment in a luxury yarn for gifts.

Although named for my Great Grandpa Thorpe, this design is totally unisex (non-gender specific and all that good stuff) and dressy or casual, so there are lots of pictures in the portfolio below :):
