One of my first original designs, the intarsia technique “Nefertiti Scarf” is among Elann.International’s featured patterns for the month of October.
Details are on Elann.com and Ravelry where you can favourite or queue it 🙂 The yarn that I designed with, Elann’s Peruvian Highland Wool Worsted, was discontinued for some time but has been re-released with a higher micron count, more colours and a sportweight version as well.
I taught myself Intarsia as I was working on this and it’s a technique that I enjoy. The original design concept is still a favourite and last year I reworked it as a single colour scarf that really showcases the textural stitches I chose to convey an ancient Egypt feel. This scarf was called “Cairo Cabled Scarf” and is also available on Ravelry.

Shop’s been updated!
Lots of ready-to-ship, gift-appropriate items. Some old stock scarves on sale, new digital pattern downloads, books and more.
Come take a peek, ❤ the store – my ego needs it! – and note that Canadian $ is taken at par, so check the listings in US mode. Message me here or there if you have questions.
I have some lovely Bulky and Chunky weight still kicking around and won’t be using it this season. There is enough of each of these lots to make at least a scarf and I’d love if they went to a home where they’ll be used up. All details can be found by clicking the link to my Ravelry Sale page. As always, if anyone purchases two or more lots, I will share the cost of the calculated shipping cost. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or to message me on Ravelry.
